Introducing Green Skills training from AIM
Energy efficient and environmentally friendly practices are becoming an increasingly important part of organisational practice. Businesses and government bodies are realising significant benefits by reducing their carbon footprint, reducing energy usage and improving efficiencies.
With increases to resource costs slated for the near future, organisations with low water, energy, material and waste handling requirements will benefit from reduced operational costs.
“Green Skills” training will ensure that you and your employees have the right skills to make the transition to a low carbon and more sustainable economy.
Profit from our expertise in Green Skills training
Our Green Skill Sets deliver the leadership knowledge and practical skills to help your team become - and remain - sustainable. Every Green Skill Set is a professional skills package that AIM carefully tailors to suit your organisation’s specific needs.
Qualify for government funding
Because AIM is on the Department of Education’s Approved Providers List (APL), we can apply for subsidies to help offset training costs for you and your employees.
Employees who complete their Green Skill Sets with AIM may attract federal funding which substantially reduces your costs and could provide additional cost efficiencies for you.
Productivity Places Program
In every organisation, improved skills drive improved performance and productivity, and higher levels of job satisfaction and engagement. In recognition of this, the Australian Government are continuing to financially support the gaining of recognised qualifications through the recent announcement of a new tranche of funding. The ACT Productivity Places Program (PPP) is a joint Commonwealth and ACT Government initiative and is part of the Australian Government’s Skilling Australia for the Future program.
The PPP, which is arguably one of the most comprehensively designed and favourably funded initiatives ever implemented for Australian vocational training, provides financial support to the attainment of recognised qualifications, offering savings of up to 80-90% off the normal cost of these qualifications. Qualifications available from AIM under the PPP are at the Certificate IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma level.
These include:
- Certificate IV in Frontline Management
- Certificate IV in Customer Contact
- Certificate IV in Business Sales
- Certificate IV Project Management
- Certificate IV in Government
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Certificate IV subsidised qualifications require a Program Participant Contribution of $400, and can lead to a minimum saving of $3450 per qualification.
- Diploma of Business
- Diploma in Project Management
- Diploma of Management
- Diploma of Government
- Diploma of Government (Management)
- Advanced Diploma of Project Management
