The generational melting pot is without question a hot topic. After all, we all know how hard it can be to create a happy, healthy and relatively sane work environment when you’re dealing with a fusion of ages, attitudes and business acumen. But what about the elephant in the room?

Can Gen Y step up to the plate when itcomes to organisational or team
leadership?
Have the Baby Boomers finally lost theirrelevance?
And do Gen X really give that much of a toss, one way or the other?

Get your team and clients together as Gens Y, X and the Boomers thrash it out over many laughs, fine wines and great food in Sydney or Canberra at this inaugural event, the AIM Battle of the Generations. Discounted rates for members apply.

MC James O’Loughlin will referee Gen X, Gen Y and the Boomers as they jostle for top dog position at this lunchtime event. In teams of two, each will bare their souls in the name of good old-fashioned argy-bargy as they pitch for why OUR LEADERS ARE BETTER THAN YOURS. From there they’ll be hauled over the coals by the opposition before being tossed to the lions—you, our distinguished audience—for the final say on who reigns supreme (in 2012 anyway).

If you want to understand more about what makes *them* tick, then this is the event for you... Ditto if your team is a little on the *ahem* diverse side and you could use a helping hand.
Our Leaders Are Better Than Yours is perfect for multi-generational team bonding and client entertainment. Plus it’s a fun way to catch up with friends or colleagues at a (quasi) work event featuring a sensational speaker line-up and healthy, hearty debate.

By coming along to the AIM Battle of the Generations and getting a better handle on life on the other side of the fence, you’ll be able to:
work more effectively with othergenerations
understand what motivates youremployees / boss / colleagues
avoid conflict
learn how to best lead your staff forthe best esults.
