Identified high potential employees — if exposure to a learning program, based on best practice and contemporary thinking is what is required. You have a tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience.

On completion of the whole qualification, managers will gain the CPM postnominals.

Approximately 8 to 12 months.


Structure

 

4 units comprising of 1 core unit and 3 electives.


Assessment

 

You will be required to attend 80% of the classes, actively participate in syndicate and class activities, and reach a satisfactory standard of achievement on all assessment tasks.


RPL

 

Recognition of skills and knowledge gained through previous studies, work and life experiences may lead to advanced standing in this course.

Using feedback and self-assessment techniques, participants explore the interpersonal skills required for leadership at a senior level, and design a practical plan for their own development.

Based across multiple sectors, this module explores best practice operations, covering supply-chain planning, operational controls, evaluating trends and the necessity of networking.
Marketing Marketing Practices
This module focuses on marketing concepts and strategy, including the 3 Ps (product, price, promotion) and distribution, focusing on customer needs and outcomes.
Financial Financial Practices
Covers financial concepts and practices, including short-term liquidity, working capital, costing systems and break-even analysis, and the interrelationship of finance and strategic planning.
Strategy Strategic Thinking for Leaders
his module is designed make strategic plans highly effective. We’ll look at ways of assessing competitive environments, tackle concepts such as ‘vertical integration’ and ‘diversification’, master the move from planning to implementation, and workshop some practical strategy examples.
Human Resources Human Resource Management
This module covers theories and models behind HR strategy, and how to utilise HR management to be competitive in a global marketplace. Explore how human resource practices support high-performance work systems.
Government
Selecting this module as an elective will lead to a CPM (Govt).
Leadership in the Government Sector
This module will explore and discuss theory and concepts across a range of contemporary agendas to provide understanding of government, and the strategic thinking in the public sector.
