The Advanced Diploma of Project Management (BSB60707) is a specialised qualification for project managers or program directors managing a wide range of projects of varying degrees in size, value, complexity and risk.

Designed for

 

Managers of very large projects that demand senior level responsibility, or highly experienced project managers with exposure to managing multiple major projects or programs of related projects.


Timeframe

 

Approximately 12 to 18 months.


Structure

 

9 core units. On completion of the whole qualification, managers may gain advanced standing into a Bachelor Degree at selected universities.


Pre-requisites:

 

Whilst there are no formal pre-requisites, the Diploma of Project Management, or equivalent experience, and a working knowledge of the PMBoK®, AIPM or PMI credentials are recommended.


Assessment

 

You’ll be assessed through workplace projects, which require you to compile a range of evidence that demonstrates your competence.


RPL

 

Recognition of skills and knowledge gained through previous studies, work and life experiences may lead to advanced standing in this course.

You will learn how to program manage multiple complex projects. We will cover the integration of multiple projects; scope and managing scope creep. The program including the management of time lines, budgets, quality, communications, people management as well as risk mitigation techniques.
